Location: Home based, UK (occasional travel to our London King Cross office will be required)

Reports to: Admissions Manager

Hours: 37.5  per week

Role Overview 

As the Admissions Lead  at Cambridge Spark, you will be responsible for the success of day-to-day operations in our busy admissions department. This will involve working closely with our Compliance and Customer Success teams to ensure that all prospective learners passing through our admissions process receive a gold standard experience. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that reviews are efficient, fair and transparent, act as a point of escalation for disputes and issues, and work to improve processes behind the scenes, leveraging automation and AI to provide a seamless service.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that our Recognition of Prior Learning process is fairly and consistently applied across all candidates and apprenticeship standards
  • Leading on producing and quality-assuring compliance documentation to allow learners to begin their apprenticeship
  • Acting as a point of escalation for complex learner queries or disputes within the application process
  • Reviewing complex apprenticeship applications to ensure that eligible candidates are selected
  • Continuous process improvement, using our HubSpot CRM system, automation platforms and AI tools
 

Candidate Specification: 

Essential

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with admissions or onboarding processes
  • Previous experience of customer service
  • Ability to work accurately at high speed and high volume, maintaining good attention to detail
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: acting proactively to fix issues, suggest improvements and provide the best possible service

Desirable

  • Experience with using a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce etc.)
  • Previous experience in the apprenticeship or further education sector
  • An enthusiasm for automating processes and using AI in the workplace
